Brian Myers mentions talent that lifted WWE’s women’s division

Host of the new ECW-inspired podcast Extreme conversations, Brian Myers, spoke recently The Wrestling Inc. daily where he discussed one of his Create A Pro students, Kris Statlander. The former WWE Superstar trained the AEW wrestler early in her career, and he took over her work ethic.

“I always say that Kris is my favorite student of all time. She’s like a girlfriend, a wonderful human being, and she literally worked so damn hard to start breaking. She was not a fan in herself, but she fell in love with that and saw what was going on, “he said.” She literally worked so hard and was there day and night. There were many other female girls who have stopped, she has never stopped. She just wanted to be in there with the guys and knock it out and take shocks and bruises. She is also such an impressive athlete, holy s – t. She’s just getting better, so I’m very excited about her success, and I do not even think she’s scratched the surface yet. ”

Brian Myers also talked about the women’s revolution in general. He admitted he thinks it’s still growing, but WWE misses the star power of Ronda Rousey.

“Yeah, but they made their mark and they made their point. It’s come this far since I started what it was, bikini competitions and nonsense. I’ve been a part of WWE the last few years and I saw that “Women mean something, like, big time. They have big fan bases, they move merch, they get superstar reactions at shows and live events. It’s really cool to see how far it’s come,” Myers reflected. It’s still growing, I think the loss of Ronda was a big hit for the star power on the women’s list. She brought a lot to the table, I was there too much of it, she is a megastar. To bring the whole rest of the list up to her level, which I thought was pretty cool. “

Brian Myers then discussed Ronda in more detail. He admitted she was cool to be with and she threw herself into the mix.

“Super cool,” he said of her. “I made trips with her and everything, she threw herself right into it, like one of the boys. It was actually really cool.”
