PARIS – The Eiffel Tower lit up on Monday with slogans in assist of Iranian protesters and girls combating for extra rights.
4 months after Mahsa Amini died in custody, the French capital’s wrought-iron tower displayed the slogans “Girl. Life. Freedom” and “#StopExecutionsInIran,” one of many most important chants of the protests.
France summoned Iran’s high diplomat final week over the execution of a British-Iranian nationwide accused of spying. Iran continues to carry French residents in what Paris calls arbitrary detention.
