German police detain Greta Thunberg in German coal village protests

LUETZERATH, Germany -Local weather activist Greta Thunberg was amongst local weather activists detained throughout protests towards the demolition of the coal village of Luetzerath on Tuesday, in line with police.

Thunberg was detained whereas protesting on the opencast coal mine of Garzweiler 2, some 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) from Luetzerath, the place she sat with a bunch of protesters close to the sting of the mine.

Thunberg, who joined the protesters on Friday, was seen sitting alone in a big police bus after having been detained, a Reuters witness mentioned.

“We're going to use drive to deliver you to the identification examine, so please cooperate,” a policeman mentioned to the group, in line with Reuters footage.

“Greta Thunberg was a part of a bunch of activists who rushed in the direction of the ledge.
