LOS ANGELES (AP) — Guidelines are guidelines. Animal management officers in Southern California have granted permission for just a little lady to maintain a unicorn at house, supplied she follows strict tips.
Los Angeles County Animal Care and Management this week shared a letter it obtained from a toddler named Madeline.
The lady wrote: “Expensive LA County, I would really like your approval if I can have a unicorn in my yard if I can discover one. Please ship me a letter in response.”
Director Marcia Mayeda replied with a letter together with a pre-approved unicorn license, a heart-shape license tag and a luxurious toy unicorn — till Madeline finds an actual one. Photographs of the license and Madeline’s letter had been posted to the company’s social media.
The licensing letter included 5 circumstances:
“1. The unicorn have to be cared for in compliance with all animal caretaking rules set forth in Los Angeles county Code Title 10.
2. The unicorn is given common entry to daylight, moonbeams and rainbows.
3. The unicorn is fed one in all its favourite treats — watermelon — at the very least as soon as every week.
