UK PM hopes to raise case of hunger striker Abd el-Fattah with Egypt's Sisi

LONDON – British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated he hoped to fulfill Egypt’s president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, afterward Monday to lift the case of the Egyptian-British starvation striker, Alaa Abd el-Fattah.

Sunak, in Sharm El-Sheikh for the COP27 local weather talks, stated he would increase the problem of Abd el-Fattah, who rose to prominence with Egypt’s 2011 rebellion and who has been on starvation strike for greater than 200 days in protest over his detention.

“I'm hoping to see President Sisi later at the moment, when I'll in fact increase this subject,” Sunak instructed reporters. “It’s one thing that not simply the UK however many nations need to see resolved.”
