Russia is preparing for close-quarters combat in Kherson, Kyiv says

Ukraine has accused Russia of looting empty houses within the southern metropolis of Kherson and occupying them with troops in civilian clothes. Kyiv officers declare it's a part of preparations for close-quarters fight in what each side predict shall be one of many battle's most vital battles.

In current days, Russia has ordered civilians out of Kherson, a metropolis it has occupied because the early levels of the battle. Kyiv has accused Moscow of pressured deportations.

In the meantime, accounts of life below Russian occupation by those that have managed to flee are starting to emerge. Some communicate of getting to cover their telephones from troops and the impossibility of contacting the surface world.

"The Russians went from home to deal with with weapons and stated 'let me see your telephone'," one refugee from the village of Kachkirivka stated.

"Then they put it in a bucket and took it to their automotive." 

Russia has imposed martial legislation and curtailed communications throughout the 4 Ukrainian areas that it illegally annexed in September.
