Italian rally calls for country to stop sending weapons to Ukraine

Tens of 1000's of Italians marched by Rome on Saturday calling for peace in Ukraine and urging Italy to cease sending weapons to combat the Russian invasion.

NATO founding member Italy has supported Ukraine from the beginning of the struggle, together with offering it with arms. New far-right Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has mentioned that won't change and the federal government is predicted to ship extra weapons quickly.

However some, together with former prime minister Giuseppe Conte, have mentioned Italy must be stepping up negotiations as a substitute.
