UK PM Truss says she will get on and "fix" post-Brexit N.Ireland trade

LONDON – British Prime Minister Liz Truss mentioned on Wednesday she would get on and “repair” the settlement with the European Union overlaying post-Brexit commerce between Britain and Northern Eire, saying that was placing pressure on efforts to revive its meeting.

“I wish to work with all the events in Northern Eire to get the chief and meeting again up and working,” Truss informed parliament at her first prime minister’s questions.

“However with the intention to try this we do want to repair the problems of the Northern Eire protocol which has broken the steadiness between the communities in Northern Eire. I'm decided to get on in doing that.”
