Slovakia on alert after escaped tiger from Ukraine seen in park

Authorities in jap Slovakia have urged residents to be cautious after a tiger was noticed in a border space over the weekend.

The younger animal had escaped from a non-public breeder within the city of Strychava in neighbouring Ukraine.

On Sunday, the Poloniny nationwide park mentioned on Fb that picture traps had registered the tiger’s presence close to three Slovakian cities.

The city of Ulic had advised residents to restrict their outdoor movementsand not take any dangers.

On Monday, Slovakia's Setting Ministry mentioned there had been no new sightings of the animal.
