ROME – Italy’s tax police have seized property value over 141 million euros ($144 million) from an architect linked to Russian President Vladimir Putin over allegedly breaking Italian tax guidelines, a supply conversant in the matter mentioned on Wednesday.
The tax police despatched a press release earlier on Wednesday saying it had seized the property from a “well-known skilled” in Brescia, a city in northern Italy, citing alleged tax offences. It declined to call the individual when contacted by Reuters.
The supply mentioned the property belonged to Lanfranco Cirillo, who had designed a grand property on the Black Sea for Putin.
A lawyer for Cirillo didn't reply when contacted by Reuters. ($1 = 0.9822 euros)
