La Batalla del Vino: Spain's traditional 'wine battle' festival makes its return

In Haro, the well-known wine area of La Rioja within the north of Spain, 1000's of individuals took to the streets to take part in La Batalla del Vino (The Wine Battle). 

The spectacular competition, which takes place every year on 29 June (the day of the patron saint San Pedro), made its return after a two-year break as a result of pandemic.
