One dead in mining accident in eastern Poland, say police

WARSAW – A 35-year-old miner died in an accident within the Bogdanka coal mine in jap Poland early on Wednesday, a police spokesperson stated.

The police have been knowledgeable of an accident in a mine owned by Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka involving 4 males and one miner had died, whereas two have been hospitalised, an area press officer informed Reuters.

The reason for the accident is being investigated, she added.

The corporate declined to touch upon the accident and stated it will maintain a information convention later within the day.
