Lizzo rereleases song 'GRRRLS' after criticism online for ableist slur

Lizzo has eliminated "a dangerous phrase" from her new single 'GRRRLS'.

"I am proud to say there is a new model of GRRRLS with a lyric change. That is the results of me listening and taking motion.

"As an influential artist I am devoted to being a part of the change I have been ready to see on this planet."

Following Lizzo's assertion and lyric change, she added:
