JOHANNESBURG – Russian aluminium large Rusal, whose international operations have been hobbled by the conflict in Ukraine, has exported its first bauxite cargo from its mines in Guinea in practically a month, an evaluation of delivery information confirmed on Wednesday.

The cargo marks the primary export of aluminium ore from Dian-Dian since March 12. Rusal’s Kindia operations – its different Guinea bauxite mines – final exported on Feb. 26.
Rusal had beforehand stated it deliberate to renew exports from Dian-Dian by the top of March.
Roughly half of Rusal’s manufacturing of the aluminium ore bauxite got here from its mines in Guinea final 12 months.
