Angel Dzhambazki: Bulgarian MEP sanctioned for perceived Nazi salute in Parliament

A Bulgarian nationalist MEP has been sanctioned for making an obvious Nazi salute on the European Parliament in February.

Angel Dzhambazki may have his each day subsidy allowance suspended for six days -- equal to €2,028.

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola introduced the wonderful on the opening plenary session in Strasbourg on Tuesday.

"I've determined to impose a penalty on Angel Dzhambazki for his inappropriate behaviour on 16 February 2022, when he held out his proper arm in what was perceived as a Nazi salute as he left the chamber," Metsola mentioned.
