WASHINGTON -The White Home mentioned on Thursday a media report suggesting that President Joe Biden was offered with choices to hold out cyberattacks to disrupt Russia’s potential to maintain its army operations in Ukraine, was “wildly off base.”
NBC Information reported earlier that Biden was offered with choices that included disrupting web connectivity throughout Russia, shutting off electrical energy, and tampering with railroad switches to hamper Russia’s potential to re-supply its forces.
The report cited 4 folks conversant in the deliberations.
“This report is wildly off base and doesn't mirror what is definitely being mentioned in any form or type,” White Home Nationwide Safety Council spokesperson Emily Horne mentioned in a press release.
