Son of hate cleric Abu Hamza jailed over 350k money laundering plot

THE son of hate cleric Abu Hamza was yesterday jailed over a plot to arrange financial institution accounts to launder nearly £350,000.

Tito Ibn-Sheikh, 35, was given data by an HSBC financial institution insider, which he used to create false identities for account holders, a courtroom heard.

Different individuals used the accounts to launder proceeds of thefts and frauds.

Ibn-Sheikh, of Shepherd’s Bush, West London, was jailed for 3 years and 9 months at Southwark crown courtroom.

He had admitted prices together with conspiracy to launder cash.

Choose Andrew Goymer mentioned Ibn-Sheikh “used appreciable talent, ingenuity and business in direction of this fraudulent and dishonest scheme”.
