A BRITISH traveller has been charged with the knife homicide of a chef.
Craig Harris, 20, faces as much as 21 years in jail.
He was arrested within the early hours of New 12 months’s Day after Kjetil Osthus was stabbed as he set off fireworks close to his home in Haugesund, Norway.
Harris, from Oxford, was visiting his pal Rune Torresdal, 23 — charged with being an adjunct.
Police are stated to be inspecting knives discovered at Torresdal’s house.
Each he and Harris are stated to be recognized to cops for medicine offences.
Mr Osthus, 28, labored for star chef Geir Skeie.
Harris, who denies he was on the scene, is in custody in Stavanger.
Benedicte Storhaug, a lawyer representing the sufferer’s household, stated: “The homicide seems fully meaningless, with none rational motive.”
