Anthony Joshua set to ‘make announcement’ on new trainer ahead of Oleksandr Usyk rematch, according to Eddie Hearn

ANTHONY JOSHUA is ready to make an announcement on a brand new coach forward of his Oleksandr rematch with contemporary faces a 'certainty', in accordance with Eddie Hearn.

"I believe AJ will make an announcement when camp begins, which I suppose can be finish of January, early February.

"However he is labored onerous to get it proper.

"Lots of people have mentioned, 'do you assume it is dangerous to usher in a brand new coach?'

"I flip that and say, 'do you assume it is dangerous to not be snug together with your setup or your environment?'

"He is put the work in to ensure he will get it proper.

"I suppose there will be an announcement relating to his coaching workforce when camp will get underway."

When requested if he believes McCracken will keep play a job in AJ's camp, Hearn hinted he would.

The Matchroom chief continued: "He'll all the time be concerned indirectly.

"He is greater than only a coach to Anthony Joshua... he is a mentor, an advisor.

"These two will all the time speak - in what capability, I do not know. I am going to go away that to AJ to announce.
