Toronto’s real estate market is still on a red-hot streak, with buyers paying obscenely high prices for even the smallest homes. And that includes a small Toronto bungalow that just sold for over $ 1.5 million.
Located at 132 Horsham Avenue in Toronto’s Willowdale West neighborhood, the two-bedroom bungalow hit the market on December 20 for $ 1,299,000. It sold later that day for $ 1,528,000 – $ 229,000 over asking.
Even though it is small, the bungalow in Toronto manages to pack a lot into it. There are two bedrooms upstairs plus two more downstairs in the basement, four bathrooms, a kitchen of decent size, a bright living room and even two kitchenettes in the basement.
The basement, which has its own separate entrance, is divided into two separate in-laws’ apartments, which means that it can easily be rented out for extra income.

Interestingly, this is not the only recent sale of this bungalow in Toronto. In February 2020, it was sold for $ 1.4 million after just nine days on the market. Picture pictures reveal that the house has now largely been renovated, where the owners have replaced the flooring, painted the walls and completed the then unfinished basement.
Whether the new owners plan to live in the home as it is, however, remains to be seen. With larger houses on either side of the bungalow and a large plot allowing for a potentially much larger home, it would not be surprising if the property was purchased as a building option.
