OPINION: Rashford makes Rangnick’s next decision easy
Marcus Rashford’s highlight heel against Norwich can go viral on social media for all the wrong reasons.
Ralf Rangnick on Saturday night appointed an unchanged Manchester United team from the team that beat Crystal Palace in its first match in the lead last weekend, and that meant that Rashford was given the task of leading the Reds’ press together with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mason Greenwood had impressed in the middle of the week, though Rashford might have been lucky to keep his place in the starting lineup.
Rashford was without a doubt one of Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s ‘favorites’, but being in the club was immediately made superfluous when Solskjær was fired and replaced by the temporary boss Rangnick.
Management changes cause uncertainty for some players, while providing opportunities for others. This environment is conducive to raising the level of performance where each player fights for their future.
