Fire damages PEI shellfish business



The Prince Edward Island RCMP warns the public to avoid the Brush Wharf Road area of ​​Orwell Cove due to a major structural fire.

The fire is located at Atlantic Aqua Farms, a seafood business in the area.

The Ministry of Public Security says the fire is still active and the fire department is on the scene.

Donald McRae, the owner of a truck and backhoe loader, offers help at the scene.

“There’s a bunch of firefighters here,” McRae said. “I also brought some heavy machinery to help fight the fire.”
