Sweden's Polar Music Prize awarded to Chris Blackwell, Angélique Kidjo and Arvo Pärt

The winners of this 12 months’s Polar Music Prize have been introduced - they usually’re all massive hitters within the musical world.

85-year-old Blackwell began unbiased label Island Data in Jamaica and signed artists akin to Bob Marley, Roxy Music, Grace Jones and Marianne Trustworthy.
