A WOMAN and her canine had been discovered burned to loss of life after her boyfriend allegedly locked her in a storage unit that later caught on fireplace, in accordance with police.
Alexander Wardell, 30, reportedly instructed police he had deliberately left his girlfriend Morgan Kay Harris, 27, contained in the unit on Saturday.
He then closed the door and put a lock on it earlier than leaving the CubeSmart Self Storage in Murray, Utah, he allegedly instructed police.
After he left the world on foot, the storage unit caught on fireplace, with the door remaining shut till firefighters managed to pry it open.
The fireplace engulfed six storage models within the advanced, per a police affidavit.
Wardell has been arrested and charged with negligent murder and kidnapping.
The reason for the fireplace stays unknown.
