Jamie Lee Curtis is honoring her youthful daughter, who's transgender, with the pronouns she’s utilizing for her new Oscar statue.
“In assist of my daughter Ruby, I’m having them be a they/them,” Curtis informed “As we speak” hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on Tuesday.
Curtis received Greatest Supporting Actress in “Every part In all places All At As soon as” on Sunday night.
“I’m simply gonna name them they/them and they're doing nice. They’re settling in,” Curtis continued. “In my life, I by no means thought in 1,000,000 years that I might have these couple days, and I’m very moved by the entire thing.”
Curtis introduced in 2021 that she’d “watched in marvel and satisfaction as our son turned our daughter Ruby.”
The film star officiated Ruby’s wedding ceremony to associate Kynthia in 2022.
