Inaugural Ramadan Pavilion celebrates the lives of Muslims across the UK

A specifically designed summary mosque put in outdoors the Victoria and Albert Museum in London has opened to the general public to have a good time the month of Ramadan.

The 2023 Ramadan Pavilion was impressed by the museum's assortment of drawings and pictures of historic Islamic structure.

Designed by architect Shahed Saleem, the pavilion is meant to mirror the way in which that British mosques have been constructed by their communities, with references to numerous traditions of Islamic historical past by architectural symbols.

The pavilion will host a collection of public occasions and two Open Iftars, the UK’s largest group occasion in Ramadan, aimed toward celebrating the lived experiences of Muslims throughout the UK and the globe throughout the holiest month of the Islamic calendar.

The pavilion is a part of the annual Ramadan Competition, a group of inventive, cultural, and inventive occasions to encourage and have interaction audiences from all backgrounds.

The Competition is curated by the Ramadan Tent Undertaking, an award-winning charity established in 2013 which goals to carry communities collectively and develop an understanding of Ramadan.
