A FARMER has died and his son has been injured in an accident at a farm in Powys, it's understood.
Police and investigators had been referred to as to the farm in Aberhosan on Friday evening.
A spokesman for the Well being and Security Government (HSE) confirmed they had been investigating the incident that occurred at Cleiriau Isaf Farm.
Dyfed-Powys Police are main the investigation and can be assisted by the HSE.
The spokesman mentioned: "We are able to verify that we had been referred to as to a farm in Aberhosan on Friday evening and an investigation is beneath manner. We're working with Dyfed-Powys Police.
"It's understood that a father and son had been concerned within the accident.”
The BBC has reported that Iwan Evans died from his accidents and his son Dafydd was severely injured.
A live performance by Côr Meibion Machynlleth Male Voice Choir - the place Dafydd is a member - was cancelled on Saturday evening as a mark of respect.
Aled Griffiths, a fellow choir member and an agent for the Nationwide Farmers' Union, instructed the BBC: "That is a particularly unhappy scenario, and the entire space is in shock.”
Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service Belief had been contacted for remark.
