A BRITISH boy is combating for his life after being mowed down by a horse and carriage in Italy.

The teenager, 4, was at Andalo Using Centre in Trentino whereas on vacation along with his dad and mom when he was struck.

He hit his head and suffered a variety of accidents after being hit by the carriage and thrown to the bottom on Friday.

Emergency companies together with paramedics, firefighters and police dashed to the scene and the boy was flown to Santa Chiara hospital in Trento by helicopter.

He was then transferred to Borgo Trento hospital in Verona, a specialised centre for neurosurgical operations, reviews Il Trentino.

The kid stays in intensive care in a critical situation.
