'Incapable Of Feeling Shame': Anderson Cooper Drops Fiery George Santos Takedown

CNN’s Anderson Cooper went to city on Rep. George Santos on Tuesday after the embattled New York Republican spoke out in an interview on One America Information Community.

Through the interview, Santos ― who faces federal, native and worldwide investigations following revelations he lied extensively about his background on the marketing campaign path ― continued to be dishonest, downplayed the extent of his lies and attacked the media for reporting on his fabrications.

“I’ve made my honest apology a number of instances,” Santos argued. “I earlier stated that I totally apologize for mendacity about my schooling and enhancing my résumé. ... I don’t know what extra may be stated, aside from admitting [it]. Is there something extra humbling humiliating than admitting that on nationwide tv?”

“Really, sure, Congressman, there's, because you requested,” Cooper stated Tuesday evening after taking part in that excerpt.

“There's something extra humiliating than admitting you lied about your schooling and enhancing your résumé. And that might be admitting you lied each publicly and privately and personally, it appears, in your life to just about everybody, it appears, for a really very long time,” he stated.

“That will most likely be extra humbling and humiliating if you happen to did it ― which you haven’t ― and if you happen to truly have been able to being humiliated, which appears unlikely, since you seem like completely incapable of feeling disgrace,” he added.

Santos has refused mounting requires his resignation, regardless of polling exhibiting a rising majority of his constituents ― 78% ― need him to step down. He introduced Tuesday he would step down from his committee assignments.
