Brittney Griner Attends WM Phoenix Open Golf Tournament

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — WNBA star Brittney Griner attended the WM Phoenix Open golf event Saturday in her second public look since her launch from a Russian jail.

Griner was a part of a crowd of about 200,000 followers on the event, watching the motion from the stadium sixteenth gap.

Final month in her first look, the Griner was on the Martin Luther King Jr. march in downtown Phoenix.

Griner is skipping the USA Basketball coaching camp in Minnesota so she will be together with her spouse and get better from her time in jail in Russia. She was traded in a dramatic prisoner swap in December.

Griner has stated she’ll play for the Phoenix Mercury once more this season, though she’s nonetheless an unsigned free agent. She hasn’t talked about her worldwide future and probably taking part in within the Olympics subsequent 12 months in Paris.
