Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who endured 15 rounds of voting to lastly grow to be speaker of the Home, is now being put by the wringer by Randy Rainbow. (Watch the video under.)
In a brand new musical spoof launched Monday, the comic retooled “Grasp of the Home” from “Les Miserables” to tear the brand new chief and different GOP Home members.
“Speaker of the Home/crafty little chap/covetous, conservative and filled with crap/,” sings the Grammy-nominated Rainbow. “Thirsty as a fish/Fast to compromise/Solely took the motherfucker 15 tries.” And people are among the many extra well mannered lyrics.
Rainbow skewers GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Matt Gaetz (Fla.) and George Santos (N.Y.) for good measure. Former President Donald Trump, traditionally a favourite goal, has to accept a supporting position on this one.
In the end it’s McCarthy who earns the highest of the marquee by “pissing off the left/paying off the precise/pushing an agenda of revenge and spite,” Rainbow sings.
Rainbow and his followers are undoubtedly hoping the run of this Washington manufacturing of “imbecilic scum” doesn’t final 16 years like the unique Broadway stint of “Les Miserables.”
