Heads of France and Germany meet in Paris amid strained relationship over war in Ukraine

The heads of Germany and France met in Paris on Sunday to mark their decades-long friendship, regardless of strains within the relationship over the conflict in Ukraine.

The sixtieth anniversary of the Élysée Treaty comes as Kyiv has known as on its allies for extra highly effective arms, corresponding to tanks, to battle Russian forces.
