Gavin Newsom Hits Fox News With Some Hard Truths About Its Mass Shooting Coverage

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) pulled no punches on Monday together with his blistering critique of Fox Information, which he accused of “not doing a rattling factor about gun security, not a rattling factor for many years” whereas visiting victims of a weekend mass capturing at a Monterey Park ballroom dance corridor which killed 11.

“It’s a shame what they are saying, what these folks say each single night time,” Newsom advised reporters about prime time personalities on the conservative Rupert Murdoch-owned channel.

“There’s xenophobia, they’re racial priming, what they've completed to perpetuate crime and violence on this nation, by scapegoating, and by doing not a rattling factor about gun security, not a rattling factor for many years,” he continued.

Newsom then summarized what he mentioned was the message from Fox following every horrific mass capturing:

″’It’s not the appropriate time, not the appropriate time, not the appropriate time.′ Rinse, repeat. ‘Not the appropriate time, Sandy Hook, not the appropriate time, rinse, repeat. Uvalde.’ Keep in mind Uvalde? Keep in mind it? Rinse, repeat. You don’t keep in mind the Borderline right here, 13 folks, that was a number of years in the past, you’ll should look that one up. Rinse, repeat. Not a rattling factor they do. And we all know it. And we enable them to get away with that.”

Throughout his go to, Newsom tweeted he was “pulled away to be briefed about one other capturing,” the killing of seven folks in Half Moon Bay.

“Tragedy upon tragedy,” he wrote.
