BP hires Equinor exec to lead ventures business

LONDON – BP has appointed Gareth Burns to move its world ventures division which oversees the corporate’s investments in start-up applied sciences as a part of its shift to low-carbon power.

Burns joins from Norwegian rival Equinor the place he arrange and has led its power ventures enterprise since 2016, BP stated in a press release.
