BEIRUT – The World Meals Programme has agreed to allocate $5.4 billion for help to Lebanon over the following three years, Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati stated on Monday, following a gathering with the company’s nation director.
Mikati stated the help can be cut up, with half going to Lebanese and the opposite half to Syrian refugees, greater than 1 million of whom reside in Lebanon.
