OMV, partners to invest $921 million in Berling gas field off Norway

OSLO – Austria’s OMV and its companions have determined to speculate 9.1 billion Norwegian crowns ($921 million) to develop the Berling gasoline and condensate discovery off Norway, the Norwegian vitality ministry stated on Wednesday.

The invention beforehand known as Iris-Hades is situated about 20 kilometres northwest of the Aasgard area within the North Sea and can be developed with a subsea facility tied again to Aasgard B platform.

The manufacturing is predicted to begin in 2028 with pure gasoline piped to the Kaarstoe gasoline processing plant for additional exports to Europe.

OMV, which operates the sector, holds a 30% stake within the license, Norway’s Equinor has 40%, DNO 20% and Sval Energi 10%.
