To assist customers address the elevated burdens of the festive season, the Greek Ministry of Growth - in cooperation with toy shops - has launched the so-called 'Santa Claus basket' consisting of various toys offered at a reduction.
The scheme consists of round 500 toys in 15 taking part chain shops. Most retailers supply about 60-100 toys within the basket at discounted costs. Financial savings are, on common, between 10 to twenty per cent.
