Oil firm Equinor looks to Celtic Sea for floating wind development

COPENHAGEN – Norwegian oil and gasoline main Equinor on Monday stated it was eager about growing a “gigawatt scale” floating offshore wind undertaking off the coast of Britain within the Celtic Sea in reference to an upcoming seabed leasing spherical.

The undertaking is a part of Crown Property plans to supply leases to the trade subsequent 12 months, Equinor stated in a press release. The Property manages the seabed and half the foreshore round England, Wales and Northern Eire.
