LeBron James' SpringHill Company Drops Teaser For Nipsey Hussle Docuseries

A docuseries telling the story of Nipsey Hussle is within the works.

On Tuesday, the teaser for a collection in regards to the lifetime of the late legendary rapper was launched by SpringHill, a manufacturing firm based by LeBron James and his longtime enterprise accomplice Maverick Carter. The venture was created in collaboration with Hussle’s manufacturing firm, Marathon Movies.

Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, was fatally shot exterior of Marathon Clothes, the shop he based in South Los Angeles, in 2019. He was 33.

The teaser reveals a mixture of photos and video clips capturing Hussle’s journey as a musician all through the years, and his dedication to his South Los Angeles group.

“It’s an unbelievable honor for SpringHill to have a component in sharing Nipsey’s story and legacy with the world,” James stated in a press release to Deadline. “He used his reward to provide again to his group and lived what it means to encourage, empower, and uplift others alongside the way in which.”

He continued, “His phrases, his ambition, and his actions persist with me to today as he continues to encourage myself, our firm, and folks in all places.”

Hussle, who was broadly celebrated for his longtime efforts to revitalize his South Los Angeles neighborhood, earned a Grammy nod in 2018 for his first studio album, “Victory Lap.” The late rapper received two posthumous Grammys in 2020.

A launch date for the docuseries has but to be introduced. James tweeted in regards to the upcoming venture on Tuesday, writing, “Keep tuned.”
