BERLIN – German tyre and automotive elements maker Continental mentioned on Monday that a cyberattack it reported in August had resulted in some knowledge being stolen from the corporate.
The investigation into the incident remains to be ongoing, mentioned a spokesperson for the corporate in an announcement.
German every day Handelsblatt earlier on Monday reported that 40 terabyte of knowledge had been stolen in the course of the assault, and that the cyberattackers had demanded ransom.
