Halloween continues to be weeks away, however AppleTV simply dropped a trailer for its upcoming Christmas function, “Spirited,” a contemporary and musical tackle “A Christmas Carol,” starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell.
Reynolds performs the Scrooge-like character Clint Briggs and Ferrell is the Ghost of Christmas Current. Based on the movie’s synopsis, there’s a twist: Briggs apparently turns the tables on his ghostly customer, inflicting Current to reexamine his personal previous, current and future.
The movie additionally stars Octavia Spencer, and options music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the duo behind the songs in “La La Land,” “The Best Showman” and “Pricey Evan Hansen.”
