LONDON – British finance minister Kwasi Kwarteng stated on Thursday he wouldn't pre-empt his deliberate assertion on UK fiscal coverage on Oct. 31, a Channel 4 Information reporter stated after talking to him in Washington.
Kwarteng is in Washington for a gathering of the Worldwide Financial Fund. British media has reported the federal government is contemplating altering elements of his mini-budget that sparked a market rout.
