George R.R. Martin blamed his “addictive” character for having by no means performed the Elden Ring online game he helped to create.
“I've not performed it as a result of individuals appear to need this ‘Winds of Winter’ ebook,” the creator cracked to applause on Tuesday’s broadcast of “The Late Present,” referencing the long-delayed subsequent installment in his epic “A Track of Ice and Fireplace” fantasy sequence of novels that have been tailored into the “Sport of Thrones” TV sequence.
“I've sadly a completely addictive character,” he continued. “I did play video video games a protracted, very long time in the past. I performed video games like Railroad Tycoon and Grasp of Orion and Homeworld and I might get sucked into it.”
“Weeks ... months would go by and I’d be sitting there in my red-flanneled bathrobe and ... ‘Another recreation, another recreation,’” Martin added.
