VIENNA – The exterior energy provide to the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear energy plant (ZNPP) in Ukraine has been restored after an outage that pressured it to change to diesel turbines, U.N. nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi mentioned on Wednesday.
“I’ve been knowledgeable by our workforce on web site that exterior energy to #Zaporizhzhya NPP is restored,” Grossi mentioned on Twitter. “#ZNPP‘s operator says this morning’s outage was attributable to shelling harm to a distant sub-station, highlighting how precarious the scenario is.”
