– Chelsea have banned a season ticket holder indefinitely following experiences that Tottenham Hotspur ahead Son Heung-min was racially abused throughout final weekend’s Premier League recreation at Stamford Bridge.
The BBC reported that the incident occurred when South Korea worldwide Son went to take a nook within the second half of the Aug. 14 recreation, which led to a 2-2 draw.
Chelsea launched an announcement after the match saying the membership finds any type of discriminatory behaviour “completely abhorrent”.
“Following our assertion this week on racist abuse on the Tottenham recreation final Sunday, Chelsea Soccer Membership can verify that it has recognized and banned a season ticket holder indefinitely,” Chelsea tweeted on Saturday.
Chelsea play away to Leeds United on Sunday.
