Italy's communication authority fines Google over gambling advertising

MILAN – Italy’s communication authority mentioned on Tuesday it had fined tech big Google, owned by guardian firm Alphabet, 750,000 euros ($766,350) for allegedly breaching a ban on playing promoting on its YouTube video platform.

Italy’s AGCOM mentioned in a press release that it had additionally fined TOPADS, the creator of the commercial content material, 700,000 euros.

Google had no rapid remark.
