German consul arrested in Brazil over husband's death

RIO DE JANEIRO – A German diplomat in Rio de Janeiro, Uwe Herbert Hahn, was arrested on Saturday evening in reference to the dying of his Belgian husband, police stated.

Hahn stated that his husband, Walter Biot, had died on Friday when he fell from their house within the Ipanema neighborhood after struggling a sudden sickness.

However police arrested him on suspicion of homicide after their forensics discovered bloodstains within the house and the post-mortem of Biot’s physique confirmed a number of wounds. Tv pictures confirmed police taking Hahn away in a police automobile.
