Conservative lawyer George Conway speculated that former President Donald Trump didn’t return delicate paperwork when leaving the White Home as a result of he’s an entitled narcissist ― and predicted it may be his undoing.
The FBI executed a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Seashore, Florida, on Monday. The objects FBI brokers sought reportedly included labeled paperwork about nuclear weapons and different extremely delicate supplies.
A number of sources advised the New York Instances that Trump had repeatedly resisted efforts by the Nationwide Archives to retrieve the paperwork and had been subpoenaed looking for them months in the past by the Justice Division.
“That is about essentially the most delicate of delicate data you might think about. And he considered them ― as a result of he's the world’s final narcissist ― as his property,” Conway advised CNN’s Erin Burnett on Thursday.
“And he thought may simply take them they usually belong to him, similar to the election belonged to him, similar to his generals throughout the river on the Pentagon belonged to him.”
“Some nerd librarian desires to take that away from him? Some loser librarian? No, he’s not going to do this,” he added.
“You can see precisely how this has occurred. And, you realize, this might be the factor that actually takes him down.”
Conway, who's married to Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s former senior White Home counselor, is an outspoken critic of the previous president who co-founded a distinguished anti-Trump Republican political motion committee.
