A Wisconsin police division struggled to discover a solution to nab a wild turkey after the fowl broke into an condo final week.
On Friday, Wausau law enforcement officials obtained a report of a wild turkey on the free inside a second ground condo and responded by making an attempt to wrestle the fowl because it flew between rooms, video exhibits:
“It actually underscores the unpredictable nature of the job, that our officers are requested to do at any given time,” Wausau Police Division Patrol Captain Todd Baeten mentioned.
After hyping themselves up, the officers walked into the condo sporting protecting gloves. One carried a web. However every time they got here shut, the turkey proceeded to fly or race away.
“We would have liked two of those, Brady,” one officer advised one other because the turkey fled into the kitchen.
Doris Madden, who lives in Wausau’s Metropolis Stroll Residences, mentioned she observed the condo’s damaged window and had no thought what prompted it, WSAW-TV reported. She known as the condo supervisor, who found the turkey.
“I feel it’s form of humorous. I’m simply glad it wasn’t my condo,” Madden advised the station.
The turkey was later launched.
