UK Royal Air Force halts flights at base as heatwave melts runway - Sky

LONDON – Britain’s Royal Air Power has halted flights at its Brize Norton air base in Oxfordshire after the new climate melted the runway, Sky Information reported on Monday, citing a army supply.

The Sky report added that plans had been carried out to make sure there was no influence on operations. The defence ministry didn't have a direct response.
